Bengaluru: The employees of Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) have contributed an amount of Rs 1.36 crores to the Karnataka Chief Ministers Relief Fund for relief work in flood-hit areas of Karnataka.
BEL's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Gowtama MV and Director (HR) Shivakumaran KM handed over the cheque for Rs 1,36,80,000 (Rupees One Crore Thirty-Six Lakhs Eighty Thousand only) to the Karnataka's Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Friday. On the occasion, senior officials of BEL were also present.
BEL is a Navaratna PSU and Indias foremost defence electronics company.
